RRR: Slaying the Finance Dragon, part Dos

So, guess what???

The whole finances thing for the semester is working out a lot better. The loan went through well and everything. But work is covering the remainder of my bill, and on top of that I got a $180 scholarship from the school for financial need. So praise God for that!

And about that guitar I needed? God provided for that, too, through the form of a very generous brother!!! Yep, for those of you reeling in shock, I'll repeat that. My brother bought me a guitar!!! It's a gorgeous little thing. Handmade in Spain. Real high grade wood all over it. Very nice looking. Gorgeous tone and dynamic range and it fills even big rooms (which, as you remember, was the major flaw of my other classical guitar). So I'm naturally very excited about that.

Just thought I'd share those blessings. God truly is great and certainly WILL provide for all our needs!!!

Praise the Lord Jon! Thanks for sharing! As a fellow college student I understand. The Lord provided me with a job for as long as I am in college and during the summers for $10 an hr and that is such an amazing blessing! The Lord is so good to us!

Yes, I have been able to play my clarinet! Ms. Johnson, my hanbells director, asked me to prepare an offeretory (however you spell that) and Ilove the piece I am doing. It is a beautiful arrangement of Crown Him With Many Crowns. I'm really nervous about performing though. I know it is not for all the people out there, but it is for God and His glory! I'm glad Ms. Johnson is giving me this wonderful oppurtunity to play when the time comes!
